VALHALLA, NY — It was pizza for hospital caregivers thanks to Bill and Hillary Clinton Tuesday at Blythedale Children's Hospital in Valhalla. The former president and secretary of state surprised the hospital with a delivery of 20 pizzas from Dom & Vinnie's Pizzeria in White Plains.

Hospital spokesperson Connie Cornell said the impromptu pizza party for the caregiver was greatly appreciated by everyone.

"The Clintons have always been good neighbors, and their kindness during a tremendously difficult time for health-care workers truly boosted everyone's spirit," she said.

Hospital officials said there are currently no patients with the new coronavirus at the hospital, which cares for medically complex infants and children.
