Bill Marx and his jazz trio return July 10 for the 12th annual Jazz It Up! to benefit local charity ACT for Multiple Sclerosis (ACT for MS). Guests can celebrate the summer with relaxing entertainment and camaraderie while helping improve the quality of life of ACT for MS' clients.

Doors open at 4 p.m. for hosted cocktails and appetizers, followed by the musical performance and a dinner buffet. The event will take place at Bellatrix at the Classic Club, 75-200 Classic Club Blvd. in Palm Desert.

Bill Saita on bass and Jay Lewis on drums will accompany pianist Marx for this fun event. Tickets are $150 per person (open seating) or $1,500 for a VIP table of eight. The price includes a tax-deductible donation for the Palm Desert-based charity that provides free services for local clients diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

Silent auction items will also be available. The event committee includes founder Norma Greer Fishkind, Ann Greer and Susie Morales. For tickets, call the ACT for MS office at (760) 773-9806, email office@actforms.org or visit actforms.org.
