Billie Eilish, P!nk and Guns N' Roses to headline as Music Midtown returns
May 18—After a one-year hiatus, the popular Music Midtown festival will return to Atlanta's Piedmont Park this fall, promoters announced this week.
The three-day festival will feature a plethora of acts, with P!nk and Australian DJ Flume headlining on Friday Sept. 15 and Billie Eilish and The 1975 headlining on Saturday, Sept. 16. Guns N' Roses and Atlanta rapper Lil Baby are the headliners for the festival's final day on Sept. 17.
The festival features a lineup of more than 40 bands and artists spanning all types of genres across its stages.
The festival began in 1994 but was not held last year due to what organizers called "circumstances beyond our control."
Though organizers did not specifically cite the reason for the cancelation, Billboard reported industry sources connected the cancelation to Georgia's "Safe Carry Protection Act." The 2014 law allows guns on government land and in government buildings, with some exceptions.
Presale tickets began Thursday with three-day general admission starting at $350. One-day tickets will start at about $200 each. Tickets can be purchased at musicmidtown.com.
