Pop star and Grammy-Award winner Billie Eilish is making her acting debut in Amazon Prime Video's new horror series Swarm.

Created by Janine Nabers and Donald Glover, the show follows a character named Dre (Dominique Fishback), whose obsession with a fictional pop star named Ni'Jah takes a dark turn and her life quickly spirals out of control.

The show is an obvious nod to stan culture and bees are even a motif, which alludes to Beyoncé's fanbase, the Beyhive. Rickey Thompson, Karen Rodriguez, and rising pop star Chloe Bailey also star in the film.

If that wasn't enough to get you to tune in, it was just revealed that Billie Eilish stars in the show as Eva, a cult leader who is in a sapphic relationship. In newly released scenes, you can even see Eilish kiss her love interest.

She reportedly appears in episode four of the series titled, “Running Scared”. Fans are freaking out over the inclusion. "Billie is coming for that Emmy. Y'all better watch out," one fan wrote.

The entire first season of Swarm is available to stream now on Amazon Prime Video.

Is Swarm based off a true story?

It's not a true story but it is based off reality, according to creator Jessica Nabors. “We did research for months to basically find events within a 2 1/2 year period that we could put our main character into. So it's really not a work of fiction. We've taken real internet rumors, real murders and combined them in the narrative of our main character, Dre. Not much of it is fabricated.”

How many episodes is Swarm?

Season 1 of Swarm consists of seven episodes.
