  • Billie Eilish invited a fan over to play with her pet tarantula, which I totally did not know she had.

  • Apparently, Billie's tarantula is blue and very cute!

It's kinda no secret at this point that Billie Eilish is weird as f*ck, but like, in the absolute best way possible. I mean, that's why we love her so much in the first place, right? If you've ever watched a video of Billie's (if you haven't, wyd??), you'd know that she channels this delightful weirdness into her art—specifically her iconic music videos. Remember that crazy, creepy-crawlies inducing video for her single, "you should see me in a crown"? Welp, the idea came about because out Billie's equally weird and endearing love for spiders. Arachnids!

During a Q&A session at Los Angeles' Grammy Museum, Billie dished about the inspiration for the "you should see me in a crown" video. "I said, ‘I want to make a video where a spider crawls in my mouth. Find someone,’" Billie said. "And they found someone…turns out spiders really like being in dark, wet places. It’s weird, man, but it rolls. Even if you hate it, you gotta respect that it’s different. It’s weird, though. I apologize." If you're reading this, Billie, I really appreciate and accept your apology since I hate spiders.

Later into the session, Billie actually admitted to owning a pet tarantula, and was kind enough to invite an enquiring fan over to play with it sometime."I have a pet tarantula. You should come over and see him. He’s blue, and he’s very cute. They’re fun. They’re not gonna hurt you. They’re cool. They have personalities," Billie told the girl.

Don't believe that Billie actually has a tarantula? Here's proof that she totally does:

Now if you need me, I'll be dry heaving into the nearest paper bag because spiders freak me TF out. But keep on doing your thing, Billie!
