One of the world’s richest women is calling it quits — again.

Less than two years after marrying Seattle-based science teacher Dan Jewett, billionaire philanthropist MacKenzie Scott has filed for divorce.

She filed a petition for divorce in the King County Superior Court in Washington State on Monday.

The mother of four, 52, married Jewett last year after divorcing Amazon founder Jeff Bezos in 2019.

Their marriage was announced through messages on the webpage for the Giving Pledge, which is an organization that encourages the world’s richest people to donate most of their wealth to charitable causes.

“I am married to one of the most generous and kind people I know — and joining her in a commitment to pass on an enormous financial wealth to serve others,” Jewett wrote in a since-deleted message on Giving Pledge in 2021. “I look forward to the growth and learning I have ahead as a part of this undertaking with MacKenzie.”

The end of the San Francisco-born novelist’s 25-year marriage to Bezos resulted in a settlement reportedly worth over $38 billion at the time.

Scott, who — according to Forbes — remains in the Top 30 of the richest people in the world, revealed that she donated billions of dollars as part of a plan to give away a majority of her fortune.

“My approach to philanthropy will continue to be thoughtful,” she wrote on Giving Pledge. “It will take time and effort and care. But I won’t wait. And I will keep at it until the safe is empty.”
