Bills call for one cohesive COVID-19 vaccine plan in Maryland

Emergency legislation that would require the Maryland Department of Health to develop a COVID-19 vaccination plan is under discussion in Annapolis. Some lawmakers describe Maryland's COVID-19 vaccination rollout as slow, uneven and frustrating. One bill would require a plan to be submitted to the General Assembly by April 1. Another seeks a two-year blueprint to respond to COVID-19 and provides vaccination funding to local governments.
