Florida football coach Billy Napier discussed his time with Nick Saban and Alabama football on the heels of the Saban and Jimbo Fisher feud.

Napier's comments came on The Paul Finebaum Show on Wednesday from SEC Spring Meetings in Miramar Beach, Florida.

"I was there for five years with Nick Saban, really at a critical point in my career in 2011, where I'd been in college football coaching for 10 years," Napier said. "To be in the inside at the University of Alabama as he was getting that thing started there was a lot to be learned about that in-house process."

Napier came to Alabama as an analyst in 2011 before coaching wide receivers in his second stint from 2013-16. He helped Alabama win national championships in 2011 and 2013.

He was the coach at Louisiana before taking the Florida job this off season.
