Can anything slow down Billy Strings?

After three marathon Nashville shows in as many days, the bluegrass rabble-rouser took his prodigious pickin' skills to Lower Broadway for an impromptu jam session Sunday night at Robert's Western World. In a black cowboy hat and matching Western jacket, a fan-shot video captured Strings playing electric guitar on Hank Williams classic "Hey Good Lookin'" with the house band.

He played the old-school honky-tonk after a sold-out show at the Ryman Auditorium. During his headlining performance at the so-called Mother Church of Country Music, Strings treated show-goers to a night of time-tested bluegrass songs once made famous by Bill Monroe, the Stanley Brothers and Doc Watson, among others.

Prior to the Ryman gig, Strings headlined shows Friday and Saturday night at Bridgestone Arena. The latter performance included a guest appearance from blues staple Derek Trucks.

"What a trip, man. I moved to Nashville back in 2015" Strings said on stage Friday at Bridgestone Arena. "This feels like a culmination of moving to Nashville. I remember before I moved, I was wondering, 'Should I move to Nashville?' And evidently, yes, I f****ng should. And I'm glad I did."
