BIRD’S EYE VIEW: Drone footage shows aftermath of Jones County tornado

JONES COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – Drone footage has captured the aftermath of a tornado in Jones County that destroyed at least 6 homes and injured a family of four Thursday night.

The tornado touched down in the Hodges and Hawley communities near CR 605 and CR 458/

Aerial footage shows 18-wheelers and trailers overturned in fields near the site of impact, and structures, including homes, completely leveled.

HOW TO HELP: Hawley tornado victims in need of supplies

At least one family in this area – a father, mother and two children – were injured when the tornado touched down and had to be rushed to the hospital by a storm chaser.
