Birds Rescued From Oil Spill Released at Huntington Beach After Rehabilitation

Two birds that were rescued from the oil spill in Huntington Beach, California, were set free on October 13 after being rehabilitated, officials said.

The Eared Grebe and Ruddy Duck were released at the shore of Seabridge Park after receiving treatment at the Los Angeles Oiled Bird Care and Education Center in San Pedro, according to the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services. Credit: Shawn Boyd/CALOES via Storyful
