The event took place Dec. 14 at Findlay Galleries, where falling "snow," greenery, white lights and the children of the All Saints Catholic School chorus added to the holiday spirit.

The Most Rev. Gerald Barbarito, bishop of the Diocese of Palm Beach, greeted Catholic Charities' most generous supporters, along with hosts James Borynack and Adolfo Zaralegui. The evening included cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, Christmas carols sung by the children's choir, and the chance to view the gallery's featured exhibit.

Th reception also served to introduce the three people who will be honored at the gala later this month. Borynack will receive the special Bishop’s Charity Medal; the Rev. Peter T. Truong will receive the Caritas Christi Award; and George Kunzman will receive Caritas Spiritus Sanctus Award .
