Reviewed's director of content development TJ Donegan put the Little Green Pro to the test on 14-year-old salt, mud and grime stains on the carpets in his car, and astonishingly, it overcame them without issue.
"It was able to pretty effectively clean my car carpets so most of the surface dirt and stains were gone," he says. "It definitely takes a couple of passes to get all the dirty water out, but it’s worth it."
On a fresh stain, one pass with the brush head across the carpet fibers and you're done.
Overall, we love the Bissell Little Green Pro for its excellent cleaning performance, ease of set-up, and its ability to get into tight spaces. We could only find one drawback—it's not meant for large rugs, but Bissell isn't trying to suggest that it is.
Donegan says, "It will set you back less than $200, which is about how much it’ll cost for even a basic detailing of your car or to rent a professional carpet cleaner. If your car is a disaster (like mine was), then you’ll likely have to spend $300 or more just to get it clean one time."
