Bitter Cold Forecast After Winter Storm Dumps 2 Feet of Snow on Central North Dakota

Residents in North Dakota celebrated a snowy Veterans Day on Friday, November 11, after a winter storm dumped up to 24 inches of snow in the region, the National Weather Service said.

Footage captured by Mitch Berger shows snow piled around his home in Mandan on Friday afternoon.

“The snow has stopped now. From what I’ve heard all the roads are open, but are like a skating rink,” Berger told Storyful.

According to local reports, crews were working since 1 am Friday to clear snow from the streets.
