Blac Chyna Shares Clip From Getting Her Honorary Doctorate Degree: ‘God Has Never Given Up On Me’

Blac Chyna took to Instagram on Sunday to share an emotional clip of when she received an honorary doctorate in humanities.

The 35-year-old entertainer, whose real name is Angela White, fought through tears as she accepted her degree in humanities from Sacramento Theological Seminary and Bible College during a ceremony earlier this year.

“‘Doctorate of Humanities’ Dr. Angela White,” the mother of two captioned her post. “Thank you Sacramento Theological Seminaty and Bible College for my honorary. “‘Doctorate of Humanities’ The degree of Doctor of Humanities is an honorary degree awarded to those who have distinguished themselves through humanitarian and philanthropic contributions to society.”

As she delivered her speech during the ceremony, White showed gratitude to God for helping her overcome the challenges she has faced throughout her life.

“God has never given up on me,” she said. “I’ve been through a lot in my life and he’s been changing my life . . . I want to continue to walk in this light and learn and grow and be an inspiration to my family, my friends, and my kids.”

White also posted several images to show gratitude for the honor she received. One of her posts shows her degree sitting elegantly in a bright, golden case.

Another one of White’s posts showed a series of photos and clips from her ceremony, along with a Bible scripture.

“Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong,” White wrote as shared the quote.

According to Vibe, the mother of two went to Instagram in March to talk about a “life changing” procedure she underwent. White, who shared a video of herself at the hospital, said she decided to reduce her “breast and Gluteus maximus” because she’s changing her ways.

“I want you all to be apart of my life changing journey,”” she wrote on her post. “I Reduced my breast and Gluteus maximus. You all have the power to heal your life, and you need to know that. ~ Angela White.”

The “Thick” singer said she was 19 years old when she got “ass shots.”

“I got it when I was 19 years old, but now I’m moving here in life, so I want this sh*t out of my a*** so I can grow,” she said.

As she continued to open up about her overall transformation in recent months, White revealed that she got baptized on her birthday.

“Honestly, I just got sick and tired of being sick and tired,” she told TMZ. “I just honestly wasn’t living my life right and I was just attracting all this negativity. I wanted to honestly dig deep and really see like ‘What’s my purpose? Like why am I even here? Why am I here on Earth?’ And just really find myself.”
