Black faith leaders in Georgia call for boycott of Home Depot over state’s voting law

On Tuesday, Bishop Reginald T. Jackson, who oversees all of Georgia’s 534 African Methodist Episcopal churches, put economic pressure on Home Depot, leading a coalition of the state’s Black faith leaders, representing more than 1,000 churches, to boycott the store for not taking a stand over Georgia’s new restrictive voting rights law.
