What stores are open on Friday?
Almost every store is open for the biggest shopping holiday of the year. Some will be closed during Thanksgiving, but on Black Friday, most stores welcome shoppers with massive deals. If your favorite store happens to be closed or you aren't around to shop, both Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales are always available online.

What stores have Black Friday deals?
Nearly every retailer from big box stores like Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart and Target to niche retailers like Leesa, Solo Stove and Our Place offer some sort of promotion during Black Friday.
As of this writing, for instance, Walmart's Black Friday Deals for Days sale is already in full swing. That means you can save across all categories including home goods, fashion items, toys and electronics.
Pro tip: To ensure that you’ll be able to checkout with ease, make sure your shipping and payment information is up to date at the retailers you intend to shop. Be aware of how much cash back your credit cards will net for each retailer, or if there are benefits you’d like to use (for instance, some credit cards offer extended warranties for certain products purchased).

Top deals from local businesses
In the Coachella Valley, most small businesses don't participate in Black Friday, but there is one new venue that has plenty of deals this year: Acrisure Arena.
The arena will be the home of new American Hockey League team the Coachella Valley Firebirds. Ground broke on the Thousand Palms facility in June 2021, and it's set to open Dec. 14 with a Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle comedy show, followed by concerts by The Doobie Brothers and Grupo Firme on Dec. 15 and 16, and the Firebirds’ first game in the arena on Dec. 18.
