When is Black Friday 2022? 

Each year Black Friday occurs the day after Thanksgiving. This year, the shopping holiday falls on Friday, November 25. Most retailers will host Black Friday sales in the days leading up to and preceding Black Friday proper. Additional deals will be available on Cyber Monday, which falls on Monday, November 28.

What time does Walmart open on Black Friday in Detroit? 

Walmart is set to open at 5:00 a.m. EST on Black Friday. It should be noted that all Walmart locations across the nation will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. Keep in mind that most of Walmart’s Black Friday deals will be available to shop at any time online.

Are Detroit banks open on Black Friday 2022? 

In Michigan, Thanksgiving and Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, are state holidays, therefore many banks in Detroit will not be open on Friday, November 25. Black Friday is not recognized as a federal holiday, however, so some branches may choose to stay open. Thanksgiving, which will be celebrated on Thursday, November 24 this year, is a national holiday, so all banks will be closed. If you anticipate having to do any banking on Black Friday, be sure to check the holiday hours at your local branch.
