Black Friday: Deals for SeaWorld, Fun Spot, Gatorland, Legoland, more

Black Friday deals are arriving at Central Florida attractions. They range from discounts on single-day tickets to passes that are valid for more than 13 months.

Each location has variations, some centering on block-out dates and some offering extra benefits such as food and merchandise discounts and guest passes. As always, be aware of the fine print and each attraction’s deadline.

SeaWorld Orlando

What: The theme park has a slew of Black Friday options, including one-day tickets, annual passes, Fun Cards and combo deals involving Aquatica water park and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay theme park.

What it costs: The top-end annual pass is $414, down from $456, during the sale. It now includes six free guest tickets and one single-ride Quick Queue per day. Fun Cards, which are good for the rest of ‘23 and all of ‘24, are $99.99 instead of $138.99. A SeaWorld-Aquatica deal is $81.99 (down from $209.99), and the SeaWorld-Busch Gardens package is $97.99, down from $277.99.

What else: Among the other combos is the Black Friday Ticket Bundle, which provides a single-day ticket with All-Day Dining and Quick Queue Unlimited for the day. It sells for $125.99 and would normally go for $228.97.

When: Sale ends Nov. 24.

Discovery Cove

What: The day resort, owned by SeaWorld, is offering up to 50% off on experiences through the end of 2024, including its packages that allow swimming with dolphins.

What it costs: Prices (and savings) vary with date, ranging from $138 to $439. (Tip: It’s a hotter/higher-priced ticket in the summer.)

What else: Black Friday deals also are available on day beds and private cabanas at 30% discounts, as are select Discovery Cove programs such as the SeaVenture dive and the behind-the-scenes Animal Trek.

When: All must be booked by midnight, Nov. 24.

Fun Spot

What: Season passes valid at the Orlando and Kissimmee locations are on sale, and an ultimate season pass throws in the park near Atlanta and additional benefits. Fun Spot also has introduced a no-interest monthly payment plan for the yearlong passes.

What it costs: The online sale price for season passes is $99.95 (regularly $119.95). At the gate, it’s $109.95 (regularly $129.95). Under the payment plan, it’s a $19.95 down payment followed by 10 monthly payments of $9.95. For the ultimate season passes, the online price is $239.95 during the sale, down from $289.95. It’s $249.95 at the gate (regularly $299.95). With the payment plan, that’s $41.90 down followed by 10 payments of $20.96.

What else: Season passes are valid from date of purchase through December 2024.

Gatorland

What: Deals on annual passes heading into Black Friday and discounts on the attraction’s Screamin’ Gator Zipline on Cyber Monday.

What it costs: Annual passes will be $43.99 (down from $49.99); for ages 3-12, the cost will be $31.99 (regularly $34.99). The zipline experience will sell for $39.99, down from the standard $69.99.

What else: Annual passes can be purchased online or at the Gatorland box office. The zip deal must be purchased online, and reservations can be made at 407-856-3226. There are blockout dates for the zipline from Dec. 18 to Jan. 8.

When: Annual0pass sale runs from 3 p.m. Thursday through midnight Nov. 26. Zipline discount deals become available at 11:59 p.m. Sunday and end at midnight on Nov. 28.

Legoland Florida

What: The Winter Haven theme park has sales on four levels of annual passes with varying degrees of benefits and block-out dates. Its elite — formerly known as platinum — annual pass includes admission to neighboring Peppa Pig Theme Park and, eventually, to the under-construction Sea Life Florida Aquarium.

What it costs: Elite passes are $249, a savings of $100 during the sale. Gold passes are $199, silver are $149 and bronze are $99, and those are all savings of $50. Customers can tack Peppa Pig park access onto gold passes for another $30.

What else: The resort has discounted one-day and two-day tickets for Legoland park, its water park and Peppa Pig park that are valid Jan. 4-March 24. It’s also offering vacation packages at its three hotels.

When: Sale begins Tuesday, and ends at 11:59 p.m. Nov. 27.

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex

What: Black Friday sale features a 13-month annual pass that runs through the end of 2024.

What it costs: It’s a $20 discount, with a price of $129 ($100 for ages 3-11).

What else: KSC goes BOGO for Cyber Monday. Get one free adult or children admission with the purchase of one adult daily mission for $75. The deal is sold on Monday only, and the tickets must be used by Dec. 31.

When: The annual pass deal ends Friday.

Orlando Science Center

What: Cyber Monday will offer the deepest discounts of the year on memberships at the science center. They provide unlimited general admission to the museum and some events, including Spark STEM Fest and Science Night Live.

What it costs: It’s a 15% discount on memberships, which normally range from $149 for individuals to $189 for families.

When: Offer is valid 12:01 a.m. through 11:59 p.m. Monday
