PORTSMOUTH — The Black Heritage Trail of New Hampshire announces the lineup for its highly anticipated Reggae Festival, "Chanting Down Babylon: Redemption Songs of the Diaspora” scheduled for Saturday, June 17. The Reggae Festival is one of the Trail’s new signature events in celebration of Juneteenth, and features an incredible lineup of legendary reggae artists, including Marcia Griffiths, Glen Washington, Brigadier Jerry, Nadine Sutherland, Lady G, and Onyx Brown, all accompanied by Derrick Barnett and the Statement Band.

The Reggae festival takes place Saturday, June 17, from 12 to 10 p.m. outside at Strawbery Banke Museum’s park, 14 Hancock St., Portsmouth, N.H. The Reggae festival features a day full of amazing music, food, and culture. With live performances throughout the day and top-tier headliners on the evening bill, this is an event that reggae fans, friends and families simply cannot miss.

"This festival is a new addition to our very popular series of Juneteenth events which includes a tour, a panel discussion, a ceremony at the African Burying ground, an art opening, a dance performance, and a gospel choir concert. We can't wait to see everyone come together to celebrate our rich history and vibrant African American culture.”

The Black Heritage Trail of New Hampshire is offering a range of ticket options to suit all tastes and budgets for this first-ever Juneteenth NH Reggae Festival:

Early bird tickets, available from now through April 30:  $30/all-day festival pass

General Admission, available May 1: $60/all day festival pass.

VIP Tickets: $100/entry to the VIP Tent, exclusive whiskey tasting, priority access seating and more.

Children: aged 6-10, $10/all day festival pass
