Kenya Barris could soon be single-ish.

The creator of ABC’s “black-ish,” 47, filed for divorce last week from wife Dr. Rania “Rainbow” Barris after over two decades together, according to a court document obtained Tuesday by People.

“Irreconcilable differences” were listed as the reason for the couple’s split, according to the outlet — which isn’t their first trip down breakup lane.

With the document noting a September 2020 date of separation, Barris requested both joint and legal custody of their six children, which includes four minors aged 5 to 16, according to People. Barris also agreed to pay spousal support.

Back in 2014, 47-year-old Rania — whose “black-ish” alter ego, Rainbow “Bow” Johnson, was played by Tracee Ellis Ross — filed for divorce from the four-time Emmy nominee, only to reconcile the following year, according to The Associated Press.

The couple, who tied the knot in 1999, was supposedly solid for several years. That is, until Kenya Barris — who on “black-ish” takes the form of Dre Johnson (Anthony Anderson) — himself filed for divorce in 2019.

Due to drawing from their real life marriage in the rest of the series, Rania in 2018 told Entertainment Weekly that she encouraged the “Girls Trip” producer to be authentic to their struggles and depict them on-screen.

“I think you owe it to your viewers to show this,” she said at the time.
