- The Cook County Treasurer's office wants to make residents aware of an effort to bring tax relief to Chicago homeowners. Our colleague Samantha Chatman hosted an ABC7 virtual town hall on that program called Black and Latino Houses Matter. It's aimed at removing properties with delinquent taxes from the annual tax sale list, helping families save their homes.

- All homes matter. But when you have a disproportionate number of homes that are African-American and Latino and only 25% are in the other group, we tend to the 25% because more likely than not, they're seniors. But you have a disproportionate amount.

- One week from today a phone bank will be available to give you step-by-step instructions on how to get some help. You can call the number on your screen, 312-603-5105. That's next Thursday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM.
