Black River FFA chapter heading to district competition

The Black River High School FFA chapter has advanced to district competition.

Students recently participated in Sub-District Parliamentary Procedure Career Development at Smithville High School. The event is described as an assessment of members' ability to participate in a business meeting or other group decisions that requires decision making skills.

The chapter performed an FFA mocked-type meeting in front of a panel of judges. Each member had completed a written evaluation that contained questions that tested their knowledge of the parliamentary procedure rules.

Black River FFA senior team members are Katie Seger, left, Ally Hamilton, Ridge Martin, Summer Sooy, Giani Bonidie ad Addison Flynn. Alternate is Peter Howard.
