‘Black Widow’ Star David Harbour Wants the Movie to Be Released on Streaming
Black Widow and Stranger Things star David Harbour is advocating for the potential of Black Widow being released exclusively on streaming.
"Wouldn't it be fun if we all could just stream it?" he asked. "But that's above my pay grade."
The movie was originally scheduled for a May 1 release.
Stranger Things star David Harbour has called for his MCU blockbuster Black Widow to be released for streaming while the coronavirus pandemic continues.
The movie, which fans have been calling for ever since Scarlett Johansson first suited up as Natasha Romanoff in Iron Man 2, was scheduled to hit the big screen on May 1 this year.
Along with countless other projects across the entertainment industry—No Time to Die and Fast 9 included—Black Widow's release has now been officially delayed until further notice, due to the health crisis.
Addressing fans on his Instagram Stories earlier this week in a question and answer session, Harbour (who plays Red Guardian in the movie) revealed that his initial response to the delay after he was told about it in an email was "Shocker".
He added, per The Independent: "Wouldn't it be fun if we all could just stream it? But that's above my pay grade."
In our opinion, all petitioners are welcome to take this concept and run with it.
COVID-19 has really dug its nails into Harbour's work recently, as production on the fourth season of Stranger Things was suspended this month too.
