Still, the bald is beautiful mantra seems to be ringing true for more and more people. Whether it is a choice, hereditary or the result of a disorder, seeing women proudly rocking a clean shaven head is becoming more common.

September 13 National Bald is Beautiful Day. According to National Today, the holiday is a reminder that being bald is not a shortcoming and that we are all beautiful just the way we are.
