Black Xavier students confront founder's history of slave-ownership

You're black. You like your school. But you know it was built on a slave-owner's investment, and his image — and the images of slaveowners like him — sits enshrined in its history. What do you do? This group of students went on an international journey centered around understanding the transatlantic slave trade, seeing the African country from which slave ships set out, and finding strength in the worldwide pan-African diaspora that exists today.
