Blackman three-star receiver Justin Brown includes Mississippi State, Penn State in top 5

Blackman three-star receiver Justin Brown dropped his top-five schools on Twitter Monday afternoon.

The list includes Mississippi State, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Purdue and West Virginia

Brown, a 6-foot-2 185-pound receiver, is ranked as the No. 13 player in the state and the No. 53 receiver in the country according to 247Sports Composite.

Last season Brown established himself as one of the most exciting receivers in the Nashville area, catching 69 passes for 1,144 yards and 11 touchdowns on an offense that averaged close to 34 points.

The Blaze have added four-star wide receiver Demitrius Bell, a McGavock transfer, and three-star receiver Jacob Page, an Ensworth transfer, to their roster during the preseason.

Following his breakout junior season, Brown started to garner interest from several Power Five programs and holds additional offers from Indiana, Miami, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.
