YG Entertainment revealed on Tuesday that BLACKPINK’s Jisoo is currently shooting the music video for her solo single.

The agency shared more details about the highly anticipated project in a statement released on Monday.

"The music video for Jisoo’s solo track is being filmed entirely overseas in strict secrecy. It is worth anticipating as we invested the highest production cost of all BLACKPINK videos to date,” YG Entertainment said, according to Soompi.

This is the latest update following last month’s news that Jisoo will release her debut solo album later this year.

At the time of that announcement, Jisoo had already shot concept photos for the album and started music production during BLACKPINK’s “Born Pink” world tour.

Details about Jisoo’s solo album, such as its release date, title and tracklist, have yet to be announced.

Jisoo is the fourth and final BLACKPINK member to go solo after Jennie released her single "Solo" in 2018, followed by Rosé and Lisa with their respective solo albums "R" and "Lalisa" in 2021.

The quartet will resume their “Born Pink” world tour in March with several stops in Asia before heading to Australia and New Zealand.

Next month, BLACKPINK will make history as Coachella’s first K-pop headlining act.
