BLACKSWAN, the only active K-pop group with all non-Korean members, teases new music
BLACKSWAN, the only active K-pop group with all foreign members, is reportedly set to release a new single.
With the recent departure of Korean members Judy and Youngheun, the group now consists of four members: Belgian-Senegalese Fatou, Brazilian-Japanese Leia, Indian Sriya and Brazilian-German Gabi.
Sriya and Gabi, the most recent additions to the lineup, joined in May after undergoing several months of training.
Fatou, who released her debut mixtape “Psycho with a Pretty Face” as a solo artist in August, addressed Lumina, the group's fandom, when revealing during a recent interview with Teen Vogue that BLACKSWAN is preparing to release a new song.

“Lumina, I know you've been ready for a long time.” Fatou shared. “I know. We are dying to come out too, but don't worry. We are working on new stuff already and it's good.”
The 27-year-old rapper from Senegal described the upcoming track as “very intense” and “the best song we've done as a group.”
“It's coming sooner than you think it is,” Fatou teased. “We're working on it. And we miss you. We love you so much. We cannot wait to start communicating again, meet you guys. We have a lot of exciting stuff lined up. We might be meeting a lot of you guys very soon. So please stay tuned. I know you're waiting. You're frustrated, and same. We love you.”

Originally known as Rania, BLACKSWAN made their official re-debut on Oct. 16, 2020, with their first full-length album “Goodbye RANIA.”
After a brief hiatus, the group released their single album "Close to Me" on Oct. 14, 2021, their latest project to date.
The group performed at a concert in Belgium on Sept. 4 via “The K-POP World Festival and BLACKSWAN” event organized by the Korean Cultural Center in Brussels.
