Blake Shelton Thinks Chrissy Teigen Will Give Him Food Poisoning After He Made Fun Of Her Cooking

I love a reality show quarrel just as much as the next guy, but this one might just take the cake. The Voice judges are known for their playful competition as well as their close relationships, and this past weekend that was made clear by an Instagram video of Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton poking fun at Chrissy Teigen's cooking.

Gwen and Blake spent Thanksgiving at Blake's property in Oklahoma, according to People, which is a tradition that's been going on for four years now. While spending the weekend away, the couple posted a video on Instagram of the stew they were cooking together over an outdoor fire.

They opened the lid of the stew on video while Gwen narrated, "Tell Christie Teigen to take that!" she said, mispronouncing her name on purpose. Us Magazine reported that Blake then followed with "Yeah! Suck that, Christie. Suck it!”

Obviously, this was all a fun little joke, but fellow Voice judge John Legend was not going to let those two have the last word. In a behind-the-scenes video of John and Blake conversing before the Monday show, Blake asked the EGOT winner if Chrissy had seen the video yet and John assured him he'd show it to her that night.

"I just wanna know if she's mad at me," Blake said. John replied with a straight face, "We'll have you guys over for dinner, and if you survive dinner you'll know if she's mad at you or not."

"If I get food poising I’ll know she saw it?” Blake said, which, well, he has a point. These two power couples getting together is something that I, and I'm sure many others, would love to see. As for Chrissy? She got in on the fun too, replying to a video of the chat on Twitter by saying "I don't know what Blake did but I could never be mad at him!!"

So there ya have it, folks, there's zero bad blood between these two iconic duos. Good thing, too, because I wanna see this dinner party!
