She’s fast. She’s furious. And she’s blazing a trail for female drift racers in the Middle East.
"Hi, my name is Noor, Noor Daoud, I'm the first female drifter in the Middle East.”
Noor Daoud has been a speed junkie since she was 17.
The 29-year-old is a member of 'Speed Sisters', the first all-female autocross team from the Palestinian territories, who compete in the Middle East and Europe.
She caught the racing bug in 2009, but it wasn’t until three years later that she found her true passion.
“I started drifting in 2012, but in 2009 I was doing some other stuff, which is the time attack, I didn't really like it, I went to the more extreme, the one that I love.”
The Palestinian has won titles in the Middle East and Europe, and she recently moved to Dubai to focus on her drifting career.
She works as a drifting instructor at Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi and other academies in the United Arab Emirates and when she’s not doing that, she’s focused on her main career: stunt driving.
“It has been a while, I have not been on track so I'm really really happy with what I have done already and I'm looking forward for some more.
