Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2 release schedule

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War picked up the story of Ichigo, Rukia and the soul society over a decade after the anime was last on the air.

Fans of Tite Kubo's original manga were particularly excited about the return since the franchise's final arc remained unadapted when the show was canceled back in 2012.

Production company VizMedia announced ahead of the release that Bleach's epic finale would be released in four 'cours' of 13 episodes, with breaks in between each cour.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2 began airing on Disney+ in the UK on July 8, with subsequent episodes released every Saturday on the platform. Viewers in the US can watch the sequel series on Hulu.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2 is coming to an end! Staff confirmed that the current batch of episodes would conclude with an epic, hour-long finale episode combining episodes 25 and 26 on September 30. That means the current release schedule is:

• Episode 15 - 'Peace from Shadows' (July 15, 2023)

• Episode 16 - 'The Fundamental Virulence' (July 22, 2023)

• Episode 17 - 'Heart of Wolf' (July 29, 2023)

• Episode 18 - 'Rages at Ringside' (August 5, 2023)

• Episode 19 - 'The White Blaze' (August 12, 2023)

• Episode 20 - 'I Am The Edge' (August 19, 2023)

• Episode 21 - 'The Headless Star' (August 26, 2023)

• Episode 21.5 'The Blood Warfare, Separation' (September 2, 2023)

• Episode 22 - 'Marching Out the Zombies' (September 9, 2023)

• Episode 23 - 'Marching Out The Zombies 2' (September 16, 2023)

• Episode 24 - 'Too Early to Win, Too Late to Know' (September 23, 2023)

• Episode 25 - 'The Master' (September 30, 2023)

• Episode 26 - 'Black' (September 30, 2023)

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War also features the full English voice cast reprising their roles, including Johnny Yong Bosch as Ichigo Kurosaki, Michelle Ruff as Rukia Kuchiki, Derek Stephen Prince as Uryu Ishida, Stephanie Sheh as Orihime Inoue, Wally Wingert as Renji Abarai, and Doug Erholtz as Kisuke Urahara.

Anime fans should also be excited by the addition of Daiki Yamashita (Midoriya in My Hero Academia) and Asami Seto (Nobara Kugisaki in Jujutsu Kaisen) as two new characters.

Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War streams on Disney+ in the UK with new episodes released weekly on Saturdays. In the US the full show is available on Hulu.
