Anna-Maria Herman started singing in various cities and villages of Lviv Oblast when Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

“At the beginning of the war, the girl decided that she wanted to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine and started volunteering: she sang in cities, villages of our district, in churches, thus raising funds to help Ukrainian soldiers,” the administration said.

The girl’s blindness has never prevented her from playing the bandura, participating in various singing competitions, and winning prizes.

The money raised by Anna-Maria has already been spent on the purchase of a drone, a car, walkie-talkies for medical services, clothes, shoes, thermal clothing, and food for Ukrainian soldiers.

The girl’s older brother is also a soldier. He is currently undergoing treatment in Lviv Oblast after being wounded.
