Blitzen's is back in Hudson.

Blitzen's — a holiday-themed pop-up bar conceived by brothers Kevin and J.J. Altomare that's now in its fourth year of operation — returned Wednesday to Hudson's Restaurant.

Located at 80 N. Main St., Blitzen's, the holiday themed pop-up bar conceived by brothers Kevin and J.J. Altomare, now in its fourth year of operation, returned on Wednesday.

Blitzen's debuted in 2016 when the Altomares decorated the bar area of the restaurant at 80 N. Main St., which they co-own. Patrons were so enthusiastic about the concept that the brothers were inspired to continue adding more decorations each year.

This year, the Altomares began decorating at the beginning of the month. Holiday decor now covers every wall of the restaurant, and a train circles above a portion of the dining area. Local artist Merry Shay created a piece of chalkboard art inspired by the classic film "A Christmas Story."

Blitzen's will be serving up holiday-themed cocktails from 4 to 10 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Christmas Eve, but they'll be closed Christmas Day.

Among the libations are the Frosty's Toddy — containing Tito's Handmade Vodka, cold-brew chai tea and apple cider — and Cousin Eddie's Eggnog with Benchmark Bourbon and, you guessed it, eggnog.
