"Blockbuster," the Randall Park-led workplace comedy based on the nearly defunct video store chain of the same name, has been cancelled by Netflix.
The show's cancellation was announced just six weeks after the release of Season 1 on Nov. 3.
"Blockbuster," starring Park and Melissa Fumero ("Brooklyn Nine-Nine"), centers around the last surviving Blockbuster location and its employees.

The series received poor ratings from audiences and critics alike, with a 22 percent critics score and a 45 percent audience score on review aggregate website Rotten Tomatoes.
Even the actual last-standing Blockbuster store expressed displeasure with the sitcom, calling their approval of its creation "the worst thing they have ever done for money" in a now-deleted tweet.
The cancellation makes "Blockbuster" Netflix's fourth cancellation of a Korean American-led series after just one season in a little over a year.

Previous series cancelled by Netflix include John Cho's "Cowboy Bebop," which was cancelled in November of last year, Sandra Oh's "The Chair," which was cancelled in February, and Arden Cho's "Partner Track," which was cancelled in August.
