Ruxbin is the little restaurant that can, and it's now getting some pretty major national props.

Bon Appetit named it the No. 5 best new restaurant in America for 2011.

The intimate 32-seat West Town spot, with chef Edward Kim (Per Se) at the helm, won over Bon App restaurant editor Andrew Knowlton's palate through its eclectic American bistro menu that pulls from global influences. Ruxbin recently celebrated its one year anniversary and it doesn't seem to be slowing down.

This new accolade won't help matters either as the wait for a table at this no-reservation BYOB spot already tends to run long, but trust that it's worth the time.

Congrats Ruxbin. The secret is now out.
