Guy Parodies Ladies' Tinder Profile Photos
If you're one of the millions of women looking for love or a quintessential Cinderella story on Tinder, you may want to watch out, or at least limit the amount of sexy snapshots you post to your alluring profile. Why? Because you could be the next victim of the self-professed Australian "artiste" who calls himself "Tindafella."
25-year-old Jarod Allen takes images of women from the popular dating app and reimagines them in his own very special way. On occasion, his renditions require a few props and sometimes a little help from a friend. Some of Tinderfella's recreations are a little risqué — you'll just have to go check them out for yourself and judge. Some of the parodies will definitely have you whispering to yourself, "What the heck?" Mind you, some of the original photos are just as absurd.
They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Allen told women's magazine Cosmo, "It's a bit of fun. I'm more recreating their beauty than mocking them!” Beyond his Tumblr page, he displays his imaginative works on his Instagram account, which has raked in more than 20,000 fans—no need for a gallery show.
Allen obviously has a good sense of humor, which might allow the creative bachelor to no longer be single. Maybe this is all one big ruse to land the right Tinderella.
