Lady Gaga Admits Taylor Kinney First Proposed With A 'Ring Pop' Before Revealing Real Diamond Ring

We've all seen photos of Lady Gaga's diamond-encrusted engagement ring that Taylor Kinney even had personalised for her, but have you seen her ORIGINAL ring?

Yep, Gaga has revealed that before the diamond came Taylor's idea of an even sweeter surprise - getting down on one knee with a candy ring. Sounds crazy, but even that was enough to make her cry!

Genius work, Taylor.

Brings a whole new meaning to 'a sweet proposal' doesn't it?

Lady Gaga told Access Hollywood all about the moment Taylor decided to have a big of fun with his big proposal, explaining: "First he gave me a Ring Pop. That was kind of amazing and I was crying, I was so excited.

"I said, "Yes!" right away and then he pulled out the heart-shaped diamond. First it was candy. I was happy with the candy."

Candy is always good, to be honest.

Great. Now we're torn between 'N'awww' and being really quite hungry. TURMOIL.

The 28-year-old also opened up about how being engaged has changed her, admitting: "It makes everything better.

"When you're in love and have love it makes everything better. From the moment I met him, my heart was with him."

GAH. We think we might even shed a tear at all of this!

Gaga announced her engagement last week, sharing a photo of the gorgeous ring on Instagram and writing: "He gave me his heart on Valentine's Day, and I said YES!"

She later revealed that the ring was actually personalised with 'T <3 S' on the back, showing off the handiwork on Instagram.

He captioned the cute photo: "My favorite part of my engagement ring, Taylor and Lorraine designed 'T💗S' in white diamonds on the band. He always called me by my birth name. Since our very first date. I'm such a happy bride-to-be! I can't stop smiling!!"

Fine diamond jewellery expert Lewis Malka has commented on the beautiful ring itself, saying: "Lady Gaga seems to have won over her loved one and has literally received his heart in return!

"Taking to Instagram, she showed the world her stunning ten carat, yes ten carat, heart shaped diamond engagement ring.

"Set as a traditional solitaire ring, this really doesn't need any shoulder stones to enhance it. Whilst some heart shape diamonds can be cut poorly, the proportions on this one seem perfect, just like the couple in question!

"I would hope she has this insured for nothing less than half a million pounds."
