Bloomfield police seek help locating man missing since June 8

Bloomfield police are seeking the public's help locating a resident who has been missing for more than a week.

George Kovacs, 36, was reported missing by his family on Monday, after he was last seen at 4:30 p.m. on June 8.

Kovacs is described as 6-feet-2-inches tall and approximately 180 pounds. He can also be identified by tattoos of triangles on his wrist and a music note on one of his hands, according to an alert issued by Bloomfield police.

His family does not know what Kovacs was wearing when he disappeared, but said he often wears a kilt, police stated.

Anyone with information as to his whereabouts is urged to call the Bloomfield Police Department or Detective Joseph Finkler by calling 973-873-8559.
