Just like in "A Christmas Story," some families may find they want or need to eat out on Christmas Eve. If that's true for you, here's a list of Bloomington restaurants that will be open on Christmas Eve and a list of which ones will be open on Christmas Day.

Bloomington Bagel's Dunn Street location will be open until noon on Christmas Eve
Brown County Chocolate Moose will be open 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Christmas Eve
Siam House, 430 E. Fourth St., noon-9 p.m. Christmas Eve (will close early if not busy)
Scenic View, 4600 S. Ind. 446, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Christmas Eve
Taste of India, 316 E. Fourth St., will be open 11 a.m.-3 p.m. for lunch buffet and 4:30-10 p.m. for dinner on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
Uptown Cafe, 102 E. Kirkwood Ave., open 9 a.m.-2 p.m. for brunch.

Dragon Express, 1400 E. Third St., 11 a.m.-10:15 p.m.

Lan Ramen and Aqua Tea, 250 S. Washington St., 11:30 a.m.-9 p.m. (will close early if slow)
