ST. LOUIS – Three-time state champion and hall of fame coach Jay Blossom is in year two as the head coach of the Principia High School boys basketball team.
Prior to his arrival, Principia managed just eight total wins over the course of two seasons.
In year one, Blossom lead the Panthers to a runner up finish in the Class 2 state championship.
In year two, Blossom has led his young core of players to an impressive 12-3 (2-0) record.
His philosophy? The same as it was at Webster Groves High School.
Coach Blossom believes patience and hard work will lead to success on and off the court.
With wins over CBC and a perfect conference record so far, who would bet against the hall of fame coach beginning a new dynasty with his new program?
