Blue 42 restaurant in Elmwood Park expanding to second location in Lincoln Park

Esteemed sports bar Blue 42 in Elmwood Park is expanding the business to Lincoln Park with a projected opening date in November. This second location will take over the Dunkin' on 188 Main St. and convert it to "Wingman" by Blue 42.

Restaurant owner Giorgio Biancamano said the menu will be more limited but offer the same variety of wings they are known for. Delivery will also be available.

"It will be the same food but very limited menu. There's not gonna be burgers, pizza and all that. It's just gonna be appetizers, mostly a wing spot," Biancamano said.

In addition to the wings from Elmwood Park, Biancamano said the Lincoln Park site will introduce boneless wings that were in high demand by customers. Yelp users give the restaurant and bar high accolades at 4.3 stars with 151 reviews.

Biancamano said there will be a grand opening party come launch day, but the specifics are still to be decided. Blue 42 announced the Wingman spot over Instagram Thursday, thanking customers and staff.

"We're expecting this to be big. The plan is to keep opening these up and hopefully franchise down the road," Biancamano said.

Blue 42 originally opened in 2014 specializing in Italian cuisine and bar food. Most notable are their 112 wing sauces and dry rubs that offers unique flavors like Nutella or Nacho Doritos.
