'Blue Christmas Service' set for Dec. 5 at First Christian Church

GALESBURG — A "Blue Christmas Service" will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5 at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 301 N. Broad St.

The service is open to all and especially designed to usher in a Christmas season filled with a new-found joy and peace.

The church says, "If you are grieving or struggling, if the Christmas spirit eludes you this season, or you just need a quiet, spiritual break in the midst of busy times – we invite you to join us for this special service."
