Gilda’s Club Quad Cities continues the legacy and laughter of Gilda Radner as it celebrates her message of hope at the upcoming “Live from QC…It’s Saturday Nite!” gala, which will be April 6, 2024 at Rhythm City Casino, Davenport.

The fundraising event will feature comedian Josh Blue, whose stand-up routine is in a constant state of evolution and his off-the-cuff improvisational skills guarantee that no two shows are alike, according to a Friday’s Gilda’s Club QC release. He performs over 200 shows a year and is selling out shows across the country, continuing to spread laughter and break down stereotypes of people with disabilities, according to Gilda’s Club.

You may have seen Blue on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, The Ellen Show, The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, and other well-known shows. The gala night will also feature musical guest and local favorite, Soul Storm. Tickets are now available to purchase;all ticket sales benefit the no-cost services that Gilda’s Club offers the QCA community.

The funds raised here stay here to benefit the families and individuals in our community being impacted by cancer.

The night will feature heavy hors d’oeuvres, cash bar, silent auction, fund-a-need, wine pull, adopt a chemo care bag, dancing and laughter. The doors will open at 6 p.m. and the event begins at 7 p.m.
