Pegasus Farm has issued an invitation to community members to enjoy its blueberry harvest.

Pegasus Farm has more than 740 bushes that were planted by members of its Wings program, which offers training and employment opportunities for adults with disabilities.

The Blueberry Festival will begin at 10 a.m. July 16 at Pegasus Farm’s Country Store and Garden. The free event will offer a scavenger hunt, a chance to enjoy a wagon ride, meet the horses, see a vaulting demonstration, watch a Cooking with Rudy demo, visit a balloon artist, enjoy a magician and play yard games. Those taking part can enjoy blueberry sundaes, soda floats and other snacks.

The festival is a family-friendly event for all ages.

Admission is free, and donations are accepted. The Country Store is open for shopping. Sales from the Country Store support the mission of Pegasus Farm, to create a community that holistically supports and empowers people with diverse needs through therapeutic equestrian programs, vocational services, and recreational and social activities.

Pegasus Farm and its Country Store and Gardens are at 7490 Edison St. NE in Marlboro Township.
