Blues band The Cash Box Kings performs June 10 at The Acorn in Three Oaks

THREE OAKS — The Cash Box Kings perform at 8 p.m. June 10 at The Acorn, 107 Generations Drive.

Co-led by Chicago blues vocalist and songwriter Oscar Wilson and Madison, Wis.-based songwriter, harmonica player and singer Joe Nosek, The Cash Box Kings mix tough Chicago and Delta blues, jumping proto-rock ’n’ roll, and steamrolling “bluesabilly” (a mix of Chicago blues and Memphis rockabilly).

The band has released nine albums since its founding in 2001, including 2010’s “I-94 Blues,” 2013’s Black Toppin’,” 2017’s “Royal Mint” and 2019’s “Hail to the Kings!”

The band also includes guitarist Billy Flynn, bassist John W. Lauler, drummer Kenny “Beedy Eyes” Smith and pianist Queen Lee Kanehira.
