Three-time Grammy nominee and blues-rock guitarist Joe Bonamassa will return to the University of Illinois Springfield's Performing Arts Center on Nov. 3.

The stop is part of a 22-date tour across the U.S. this fall.

Tickets are $59 to $149 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.

Hailed internationally as one of the greatest guitar players of his generation and cited by Guitar World Magazine as "the world's biggest blues guitarist," Bonamassa has nearly single-handedly redefined the blues-rock genre and brought it into the mainstream.

Bonamassa is supporting his most recent release "Time Clocks."

His most recent Grammy nomination came earlier in 2022 for the contemporary blues album "Royal Tea."

Bonamassa has played alongside B.B. King, Eric Clapton, Stephen Stills, John Lee Hooker, Steve Winwood, Peter Frampton and Buddy Guy, among others.

One of Bonamassa's earliest bands was Bloodline formed with the sons of Miles Davis, Robby Krieger and Berry Oakley.

Bonamassa last visited the UIS PAC in 2019.

“We like Springfield. It’s always been a good place for us to play," Bonamassa told The State Journal-Register in 2019.
