The program was originally launched in March 2022 in Chicago and Phoenix; however, BMO Harris recently announced the addition of five new markets: Minneapolis, Milwaukee, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Kenosha County and Lake Country, Illinois.

Borrowers eligible for the program can contribute as little as $1,000 for a downpayment, according to the company.

The home being bought by prospective grantees must be located in a majority-minority census tract.

Funding will be available to applicants until July 31.
