William Adams is President of Santa Star’s, a BNL service organization. Adams was Vice-President of the organization last year. Adams also leads a student Bible study on Wednesday mornings before school.

As part of his church youth group, Adams participated in a mission trip to Mexico. The purpose of the trip was to build a house for a family that was starting a church ministry. Through interactions with local young people, Adams realized and gained a new appreciation for his own life and this pushed him to try to do more for those in need in his own community.

The DAR Good Citizens from both high schools will be recognized at a 6 p.m. Awards Banquet on Tuesday, March 14, at the First Baptist Church, 1515 20th St., Bedford.
