Boaters Who Ran Aground Rescued by Coast Guard Helicopter

Two boaters who ran aground near Beaufort, North Carolina, were rescued by the US Coast Guard (USCG) on Sunday evening, March 31.

Footage released by DVIDS shows the rescue by a helicopter from Air Station Savannah.

The USCG Southeast said rescuers faced three-foot seas and 38-knot winds.

The two men were taken to Michael South Airport, where family members were waiting.
